Mr. Zia-ur-Rehman Zabeeh Awan is a career senior Ex-Bureaucrat, Philanthropist, and Entrepreneur, a dynamic, result-orientated, and focused individual who has successfully integrated a full range of public relations and administrative capabilities. His forte is his strength and charisma that renders him an effective communicator; successfully building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders. His professionalism and devotion to duty, high moral and ethical values, drive, and determination render him one of the most respectable national figures.
Mr. Mian Tahir Ali graduated from Ayub Medical College in 1989, he started off with his career at lady Reading hospital as a surgical intern and later joined Khyber Medical Centre as a medical officer for general surgeries. In the year 2002 Mian Tahir Shah completed his FRCSI from Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and served there as a senior house officer.
Mian Tahir is currently working as a consultant surgeon in armed forces hospital in Saudia Arabia from the past six years and has attained management and administration skills. As a doctor he has a unique aspiration for serving humanity
Mr. Perviaz Ahmad Siddiqui is a seasoned professional from the financial sector of Pakistan. He brings along four decades of exemplary service and remarkable reputation within the banking industry of Pakistan. Having served as an Assistant Vice President of the National Bank of Pakistan, he has had various achievements, honors and awards bestowed upon him in recognition of his commitment, dedication and hard work.
Mr. Nadir Ali Shah a graduate from NIBM. After his bachelorate he did his MBA in 2000 from NIBM and in the year 2003 University of Hull. Mr. Nadir Ali Khan has been working in Standard Chartered Bank and in the year 2006 for Shahzad group of companies. Mr. Nadir Ali Shah has also worked for the Pakistan Oil field Limited.
Mr. Munir Ahmed Siddiqui is a seasoned Banking professional with 36 years of experience in the financial sector, particularly, General and Consumer Banking divisions. He has served at the Muslim Commercial Bank in different parts of Khyber PakhtunKhua and Punjab provinces as well FATA. Apart from that he has worked for the PICIC Bank (formerly NIB Bank). Mr Munir has been awarded performance certificates by both MCB and PICIC on several occasions throughout his entire career.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Qaiser M. Siddiqui is a development professional who has over 20 years of experience in the development sector of Pakistan. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Inspire Pakistan. Mr Siddiqui holds an MBA in Finance and Master of International Relations in Pak-Afghan relations degrees. He is also associated with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) as a National Expert on Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling (HTMS) where he closely works with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Pakistan police on designing and implementing HTMS related interventions primarily focusing on institutional capacity building.
Mr Siddiqui has served, in the past, with United Nations specialized agencies namely the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in different capacities. During his tenure with the UNHCR Pakistan, he remained involved with the voluntary repatriation operations for the Afghan refugees. Whereas, at UNESCO he remained engaged in managing the Human Rights profile of UNESCO Pakistan as a National Programme Expert on Human Rights through UNESCO’s Human Rights and Education based interventions and also as Refugee Affairs Expert for UNESCO.
Management Team
Mr. Mian Asif Shah is working as Director Operations at Inspire Pakistan Head Office Islamabad. Prior to this he was working with Society for Human Rights and Prisoners Aid as Project Coordinator.
Mr. Mian Asif Shah is an MBA Graduate from Peshawar. He has vast experience in development sector and is a born leader; he inspires others to work at their highest level and is able to generate enthusiasm in others. He has the ability to help others in a professional and concern manner and to balance the needs of the staff with the priority of the organisation.
Ms. Sheher Bano is a Social Development professional with six years of work experience in design, planning, management, and monitoring and evaluation of social inclusion programs. She has worked both locally and internationally, with the government of Pakistan under the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami initiative, Development Alternative Inc (DAI), American Red Cross (ARC) and NGOs. Before joining the development sector, Sheher was working as a digital media expert with Telenor. Key areas of expertise and interests include gender equality, social policy, disability inclusion, human rights and human development.
Mr. Farhan Shamim, is an experienced Project Management professional having over 14 years of experience in the development sector. He hails from a background in project designing, implementation and evaluation in a variety of thematic areas including inclusive development, inclusive education, disaster risk reduction and Microfinance. He has worked with several national and international development organizations including, Light for the World, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, SEVA foundation, Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy, and Pakistan Microfinance Network.
He is festooned with knowledge of evaluating national and international organizations and projects geographically spread throughout the country. Additionally being an active member of several national consortiums and development sector networks, he is always on the forefront to share his knowledge and experience to bring about positive change in the lives of vulnerable communities.
He has a double masters in Project Management and MBA. He also holds a Project Management Professionals (PMP) certification and possesses an active auditor status for Social Performance Indicators (SPI4).
Mr. Tashfeen Shah is a graduate of Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar working as Project Manager – DAFI at Inspire Pakistan. His expertise include project management, M&E and community mobilization, and have over 5 years’ experience in these areas. He has been working on Refugee tertiary education in Pakistan since 2017. He strongly believes that education is the only way for a refugee’s bright future as well as their countries. For that matter, he is constantly on a lookout for avenues that would benefit the refugee education and motivating the refugee youth towards education. He enjoys generating and discussing new ideas to broadly relevant problems
Mr. Farhan Ali Baig is a development sector professional with more than ten years of work experience in programme and institutional management, especially in functional areas of programme development, project implementation, M&E. He has exposure of working within diverse thematic areas which includes education, disaster risk management, youth empowerment, refugee protection, and human rights. He remained part of different projects and behavioral change campaigns such as DAFI Scholarship Programme, Community-based Protection, DAFI+, Education for Skills, Early and Forced Marriages, Scaling-up disaster mitigation efforts – all funded by UNHCR, GIZ, USAID, and Australian High Commission etc.,
Husna Gul is a dynamic leader currently working at Inspire Pakistan with over 8 years of experience in the development sector. She holds an MBA in Human Resource from FUUAST and has a proven record of accomplishment of successful communication skills and project management in the field of health and community development. Her specialty lies in her ability to engage and create awareness among communities, which has been evident in her previous work with Polio Eradication Initiative (PEI) and Expanded Program on Immunizations (EPI).
Husna's leadership style is rooted in transformational leadership theory, and her outstanding leadership qualities have earned her recognition by the United Nations. She has been featured in an interview on the UN's official website, highlighting her dedication and impact in the development sector. Throughout her career, she has served in four districts of Karachi and has made a significant impact on the lives of communities through her work.
Husna is a results-driven professional who is committed to excellence. She is known for her exceptional communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and dedication to delivering the best possible outcomes for her team.
She works as Project Manager for the Urban Cohesion Hub (UCH) for inspire Pakistan Karachi.
Mr. Fawad Khan is disciplined and persistent Cost and Management Accountant with over 15 years of professional experience. Worked with various international organizations as a finance lead and proven expertise in the field of financial management, budgeting, reporting, audit, donor and stakeholder liaising. Well proficient in analyzing risks and proposing strategic financial plans to enhance organizational growth and achieve the organization objectives. Proven expertise in formulating cost effective solutions to enhance financial operations and functions, as well as driving efficiency through evaluation of financial management systems and execution of process improvements. Ability to manage high-to-critical level programs from financial planning to scoping, estimation, tracking, implementing project plans with fixed budgets and deadlines, defining best practices and interfacing during all phases of program lifecycle. Having adequate experience and exposure various donors such as UN, USAID, BPRM, EU, ECHO, Caritases, GIZ etc.
Mr Fayaz Ahmed Banagsh is a Administration and Logistics expert who brings in 20 years of experience in the Operational Management of different industries including Non-profit sector. Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Bangash has worked as Head Of Operations Department at various nonprofit organizations as well as Corporate Sector leading and supervising more than 100 staff members throughout the Country. He has adequate experience and exposure of the UN system operational procedures and policies related to the Administration and Logistics as well as general processes , challenges and essential understanding related to the procurement of goods and services.
Ms. Melissa Alfonso, HR expert with over 7 years’ progressive experience in HR Operations, Benefits Administration, Compensation, HRIS Implementation, OD & Employee Relations, with experience in Cooperate Sector as well as in nonprofit Organization. Leading in developing functional SOP's and ensure the effectiveness of the workflow through efficient implementation of same. Demonstrate ability of devising and implementing coherent strategies while improving processes and procedures in challenging multicultural environments.
Mr. Hasham Khan is currently working in Inspire Pakistan Head office (Program Development & Support Section) as Communication Officer. Heading a team of (Communication) where having responsibility of Creating Communication content on behalf of Inspire Pakistan. Holding Masters degree in Political Science and MBA HRM, his previous multi roles development sector experience focused on Humanitarian, Relief, Rehabilitation Projects & Programs since 2003 in KP, Punjab and Islamabad with NGOs and INGOs where main donors were WFP, UHNCR & former DFID. He has proven expertise of working with Afghan Refugees since 2017 in KP & Newly Merged Districts (Formerly FATA). Along with this he served in Corporate sector with UBL and NIB Bank in Credit & Risk Management Department (Consumer banking) for 6 years. Being industrious, resilient, collaborative, commercially aware, frugal, creative with a positive mindset and result driven ready for more upcoming challenges of development sector.
Mr. Rahim Aman Shah is working with Inspire Pakistan as Program Officer, He is a development professional with over 10 years of work experience with the start of his carrier from the very grass root level of community mobilization and field officer. Over the years he has gained vast experience in the areas of Project/Program planning, management, monitoring and evaluation, and coordination. He has worked with and led projects focused on community resilience, disaster risk management, emergency response, protection, social inclusion, and gender equality at various national and international development and humanitarian organizations including Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH) Pakistan, Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO-Pakistan), and International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC-Pakistan).
Besides that, he is a professional trainer on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Basic First Aid, and Resiliency.
He holds a master’s degree in Economics and an MPhil degree in Environmental Economics, from the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) Islamabad.
Mr. Ahmed Mueez is working as an IT Officer in Inspire Pakistan.
Here in Inspire he has above 8 years of professional experience in the development sector. Through the nature of his work, he gained experience in IT, Networking, Hardware/Software troubleshooting and database management.
As an IT Officer, he have worked with our clients to find ways to develop IT strategies and look ahead to adopting new IT infrastructure for the organization.
His responsibilities include managing the social media handles of the organization as well as working with the administration department and programme team as a helping hand.
He is looking forward to the challenges and experiences that working toward his profession will bring to the new insights that he will gain from the work involved.
He believe that he will learn that helped him grow as an IT Officer and become more effective in his job.
Ms Shagufta Zafar holds an MBA-HR degree. She has more than 4 years of working experience in academic sector of Pakistan. She is a committed professional serving at Inspire Pakistan and believes that transparency is of the greatest value in the development sector. As Executive Assistant to the CEO, she believes that better project management is done through proper and smooth running of an organization, which comes from achieving high standards in delivery and governance.
Moreover, she is a talented, hardworking and dedicated individual who represent the Executive Office of Inspire Pakistan and keeps the CEO well-informed on all matters related to project implementation and keeps the executive office up-to-date with all legal and administrative matters.
